Great, I am stuck between Ben's cheesy DE's and Ian's beardy VC ;D
It is good to see a nice mix of armies and scores., and I am looking forward to the weekend.

Only suggestion I can add is that Lagrue/K Lindley and Tuite Holland are pretty close to "same club" exemption. They play each other somewhat often...

We'll see what happens. The symbols behind certain player's names let me know they are from the same club/area. I'm not too concerned about locals playing each other in the early rounds, but I do not want travelers playing each other in the early rounds if it can be helped. Beside, this way I guarantee either Ben or Ian won't win a damn thing!

What's with the army with a zero comp score? Is that right? If so, why is that allowed?

What's with the army with a zero comp score? Is that right? If so, why is that allowed? It is correct. The army is Dark Elves. I allowed it because WPS wasn't particularly friendly to his build. It has minimal magic (1 level 2 spellcaster), minimal shooting (dark riders), and very little that can stand up to a charge (no Cauldron). When compared with the other low comp lists it fits right in. Richard

Sweet, I'm psyched. What's a Bret player doing in the hard bracket? I hope he didn't ignore WPS. I don't want him to get sticker shock when he sees his matchups.

Looks like the road to defending my title starts with Lizzies in round 1.

Ok, How long are the club members going to be not paired against each other? Hopefully not past round 1, as isn't that defeating the purpose of a swiss system? If comp pairings are for the first 2 rounds...

So long as I can place winners against winners with comparable battle scores I avoid putting club members against each other, unless they are local players, until I can't avoid it any longer. I make the exception for local players in the early rounds because players who've traveled several hours don't generally want to play someone they could've traveled five minutes to play.

What did the poor greenskin player with the 2nd best comp do to deserve playing Daemon's in round 1?
Lindley vs Weber. Is that a grudge match or something?
